Dude, Where's My Plane?

How can it be that the president who says he can "fix" our country by taking over our banking system; running GM and designing our cars; hiring and firing CEO’s of private companies; monitoring and managing the internet and private networks; controlling the climate and “global warming”; putting salary limits on anyone he chooses; redistributing our money; controlling our children’s education from practically the cradle on; socializing our health care system; and pretty much running our lives for us - can't even keep track of his own 747 and the F-16's guarding it?

"It was something we found out about along with all of you," Obama claimed today referring to the NYC plane scare, despite the fact that Air Force One is scheduled by his own White House staff and was carrying out a photo op vanity mission to further glamorize the office of O.

And this idiotic, irresponsible, insensitive , not to mention expensive ($328,835), stunt-planing incident over Manhattan was described by the president simply as a "mistake". Well, DUH.

If we are to believe that Obama was surprised by video of his plane buzzing about the Statue of Liberty and swooping over Ground Zero, then we must face the fact that we have elected a complete incompetent.

And if we don't believe Obama, then we must accept that our president used Air Force One in a strictly self-serving way to glorify his presidency while demonstrating a thoughtless disregard for the tragedy of 9/11 and the people of New York. And that he then lied about it.

Whichever we choose to believe, it is clear that we have a man in the White House who does not inspire nor deserve our confidence and trust - because a successful president must demonstrate to Americans his capabilities and his character.

With Obama, it appears to be just one or the other.

Or maybe it's neither.
